Château Boutisse St Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé 2024

A little subdued, as are many limestone-dominant wines in St Chrstophe de Bardes, with an austere opening that slowly widens to show raspberry fruits, cocoa bean, raspberry bud, juicy finish. Give it a few years, high acidity needs to soften further over ageing. Harvest 25 September to 5 October. 30% new oak. Xavier Milhade owner.
