Château la Commanderie St Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé 2024

Violet-framed, vivid ruby colour with a wave of cumin, cloves and softly-grilled cedar and sandalwood oak. Lovely aromatics and opening of this, but things close down on the finish, struggles to sustain lift. Owned by Magali and Thibault Decoster, 4.5ha estate. Planted grapes given, not blend of the vintage.
