Great Wine Lives: Marchese Lamberto Frescobaldi
A wonderful podcast with Sarah Kemp speaking to Marchese Lamberto Frescobaldi, 30th generation of a family that has been making wine in Tuscany since the 13th century. Lamberto grew up in Florence, studied in UC Davis in California, launched Tenuta Luce as joint venture with the Mondavi family and eventually bought back the Mondavi shares when Constellation bought the company. Today this is one of three Frescobaldi wines sold through the Place de Bordeaux, along with the iconic Masseto and Ornellaia.
