Château Arnauld Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel 2019

Excellent terroir just to the north of the Margaux appellation, on deep gravel outcrops. I enjoyed this En Primeur and it is delivering in bottle. Sleek and confident, with smooth, well-defined tannins and great dollops of chocolate and liqourice to add a sweet edge to the plentiful brambled fruits. Muscular, enjoyable.
