Château Fonbadet Pauillac 2019
Big tannins, brambled blackberry fruits, not overly polished and full of charm. This is enjoyable, proper old school Pauillac with backbone and personality. Will age, but to make the most of the punchy black fruits and firm tannins, I suggest drinking over the next decade. Tasted twice. Owned by Pascale Peyronie. Harvest 23 to October 11. 55hl/ha; 40% new oak.
