Château Grandis Haut-Médoc 2022
Lovely colour, plenty of ripe blueberry and blackcurrant fruit, this has grip, good concentration, strong twist of bitter orange peel and almond on the finish. A little strangled, but owner Brice Vergez has done a good job with the very tough 9hl/h yield. Gravel and clay soils over limestone, 100% in barrel.
