Château Les Trois Croix Fronsac 2023

Inky ruby in colour, beautifully expressed plum and raspberry fruit character on the aromatics, edges of crushed rose petals. Grippy tannins, with a cushion of air underneath, and clear brambled fruit character running through the palate. Expertly put together, edge of austerity and lightly grilled oak, with elegance and finisse, and appellation typicity. Good stuff from owner Bernard Léon.
