Château Monregard la Croix Pomerol 2024

A softer Monregard than we have been used to over the past few years. There is fruit here, and after a beat it slowly but surely begins to build in density, red plum, white pear, iris flowers, touches of salinity and liqourice root on the finish. 1ha of vines, 30% new oak, around 5% less than usual but with a slightly longer toast. Green work starting at the end of June, sandy-clay soils. Same team as Clos du Clocher.
