Château Peymouton St Emilion Grand Cru 2019

Unfussy and easy to drink, this is the St Emilion Grand Cru from Châtau Laroque, owned by the Beaumartin family. Plenty of raspberry and strawberry notes, less polished than many St Emilions you can find in the vintage, but charming because of that, with sappy tannins, smoked earth and liquorice notes. Harvest October 1 to 14, from clay over limestone soils.
