Bordeaux: the Southern Médoc Terroir

Margaux and its neighbours

A beautiful large-format map of the châteaux and terroir of Bordeaux’s Southern Médoc, giclée printed on fine art paper.

More about this map:

This map focuses on the famous Margaux appellation and its neighbours: for the first time ever, you can look beneath the vines to the terroirs that underlie them. It shows, at a glance, where the châteaux are and the quality of their vineyard soils. It reveals that Margaux is the only appellation to boast all six Médoc gravel ‘terraces’, with Terrace 4, running parallel to the river, having the most classed growths.

Look at the vineyards and châteaux of Moulis, Listrac and the southern Haut-Médoc: our map shows that these zones, too, boast some excellent terroirs.

Each map comes with a detailed document from Jane Anson and the cartography team about the zone covered and what you can learn about its terroir from the map, which will be emailed to you after purchase.

These unframed maps are giclée printed on Hahnemühle Bamboo paper.
