Incredibly, it has now been almost four years since launching Jane Anson Inside Bordeaux in September 2021.

I can’t thank you enough for your support – helping to build a community that has won the IWSC 2023 Wine Communicator Trophy, and a 2025 V d’Or in Best Education and Knowledge Sharing for the non-profit Bordeaux Mentor Week – the mentorship programme that I founded with Chinedu Rita-Rosa in 2022 and that has brought over 30 young wine professionals to the region from countries including India, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya and Mexico.

The Connoisseur Week is now a firm fixture every June, bringing a slice of true Bordeaux magic to our guests, and this October we launch for the first time the Connoisseur Week Tuscany, both in partnership with the amazing Sarah Kemp.

The heart of the community is of course the website and weekly newsletter, where we have published tasting reports and verticals of almost 9,000 wines, along with hundreds of articles, interviews, videos, terroir spotlights and podcasts – with our new podcast partnership with Wine Searcher is just beginning, which you will be able to find on youtube, Spotify, Apple as well as our site, and we continue to work with Sarah Kemp’s brilliant Wine Conversation for 10 Minute Masterclasses, En Primeur and Wine Lives. The website continues to also support 1% for the planet, with 1% of our turnover going to support environmental charities.

Our main tasting focus will always be En Primeur reports, In Bottle reports, Châteaux Verticals and covering the Icon Wines of the World, whether as part of the March and September Releases, or individual tastings with estates. We work hard to keep our content fresh and interesting, and are thrilled to work with talented contributors and team members including Suzanne Desbois-Mustacich, Tom Kline, Adam Lechmere, Valeria Tenison and Charlie Leary.

To ensure we continue to build a community that truly serves our subscribers, we would love your feedback on what we have got right, and what more you would like to see.
