Introducing Connoisseur Week Tuscany 2025

Jane Anson, November 2024

The inaugural Connoisseur Week Tuscany will be held Tuesday October 28 to Saturday November 1, 2025.

As with our Bordeaux Connoisseur Week, we will be keeping things intimate and personal (10 people maximum), and only take you to estates that we truly believe in, where you can share our enthusiasm and passion for these properties, in ways that bring you right into the heart of their winemaking philosophy with the people who run them. And as ever, besides the visits themselves, you will have access to many rare wines, almost always pulled straight from estate’s own cellars, across Chianti, Bolgheri and Montalcino.

Highlights
Experience unrivaled access to Tuscany’s top wine estates, where you’ll immerse yourself in the rich heritage and exquisite flavours of this renowned region. All visits will be guided by Jane Anson, Sarah Kemp and key figures from each estate who will share insights into the unique terroir and traditional viticultural practices that define Tuscany’s exceptional wines. This is your chance to deepen your appreciation for Tuscany’s finest wines in an unforgettable setting.

This first Connoisseur Week Tuscany will more than deliver on that promise, with visits including lunches or dinners at:

  • Opening dinner with Sassicaia
  • Lunch at Pieve Santa Restituta with Angelo Gaja
  • Visit and dinner with Bibi Graetz
  • Lunch with Marchese Piero Antinori at Tenuta Tignanello
  • Dinner at Fontodi with Giovanni Manetti
  • Truffles and wines with Giovanni Mazzei of Marchesi Mazzei
  • Dinner with the Frescobaldis discovering Ornellaia and Masseto*
