Anwilka Stellenbosch 2009
The first impression here is of concentration and width, but almost immediately the freshness rises to meet the fruit and the tannins, and helps propel a sense of momentum through the palate. This is a beautiful wine, well paced, with raspbery leaf and brambled fruits, with sappy acidity and grip that holds through to the end of play. First vintage in new cellar.
