Rich and complex for a 100% Pinot Bianco, showing exactly why Vorberg is known as a white that behaves like a red, with the structure and weight that belies its mountain site. Steel, quince, luscious citrus, lime blossom, great texture and tension, whispers of smoked butterscotch and yet is bone dry. To get to this vineyard, which sits at 600m altitude, you cross a suspension bridge with a 200m drop, affectionately referred to as the Brooklyn Bridge by the winemaking team. Rudi Kofler winemaker.
