Château Angélus St Emilion Grand Cru No 3 d’Angélus 2021

Attractive mid-palate weight, earthy with raspberry and red cherry fruit, this has been well handled over ageing, giving easy-going medium term drinking. Low yield, 16hl/h after frost and mildew so very tough for the vine growers. The new 4,500m2 cellar in use as of 2019 came in particuarly useful in 2021, techincal director Benjamin Laforet.
