Château Arnauld Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel 2022

Extremely impressive work at Arnauld over the past few years, luscious black cherry and cassis fruit, but not overblown, smoky and with plenty of tannic frame. Orange peel and mandarin, black pepper, sweet but not overdone. Good stuff. Last year as Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel before it withdraws from the ranking.
