Château Asphodelle Bordeaux Blanc 2022

This has amazing texture, chalky and slate grip, wonderfully crisp but dense white pear, fresh almonds and peach pit, a brilliant wine that has interest, avoiding the overly sweet fruit that can be an issue with the whites in 2022, plenty of character, fresh with depth and kick. 45hl/h yield. New owner Jean-Hubert Moitry as of this vintage, with Berenice Lurton still on board as consultant.
