Château Belgrave Haut-Médoc 1855 5ième Cru 2019

Flint and gunsmoke on the first nose, in the glass there are tightly-wound tannins that provide a confident if angular frame, and plenty of black fruits that open up through the mid palate. Measured and enjoyable. Harvest 19 September to 10 October, 32% new oak.
