Château Bonalgue Pomerol 2022

Full on inky plum colour, raspberry puree on the attack, with mirabelle plum, damson, red pepper, red roses, cloves, sandalwood, black tea. There is a touch of heat on the finish but the work that they have done on the vineyard to drive the roots deeper and lower the soil temperature through cover crops and hummus proves its worth (no irrigation here), and this is a luscious Pomerol.
