Château Bourgneuf Pomerol 2022

Extremely well placed on grave and clay soils, very powerful, This is an estate that I love to recommend, flies under the radar and yet so consistent – if a little super charged in this vintage. It’s silky with muscular tannins, sage and rosemary spice, touch of soy and red pepper, clear personality. Vayron family, 9ha, early harvest September 5 to 15 and yet still this has climbed to 15.5, reflecting the intense conditions of the vintage.
