Château Cadet-Bon St Emilion Grand Cru Grand Cru Classé 2019

Great sense of energy and forward momentum here, lots of dancing minerality across the palate, the tannins remain austere but there are blackcurrant and raspberry fruits here alongside cocoa bean and dark chocolate shavings. 10% amphora, and large oak casks. Classified since 2012, in organic conversion during this vintage (received in 2021). Tasted twice.
