Great location opposite opposite Sociando Mallet on high quality terroir, now at 60ha after recent purchases, owned by the Goudet-Liquard family who are also co-owners of Fleur du Boüard with Hubert de Boüard in Lalande de Pomerol. This shows the Cabernet-dominant character of the vintage, a little slimmer than some, with fresh raspberry leaf notes, and smoked earth on the finish. Easy going medium term drinker. Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel at last ranking, expected to be reconfirmed later in the year. 33% new oak for ageing, in organic conversion.
