Château Cissac Haut-Médoc 2023
A good vintage at this estate, with vibrant red cherry and damson fruit, a good dollop of black pepper spice and fresh floral aromatics. It’s a little austere but it’s juicy and has sinewy tannins that suggest ageing ability. A success, with personality and a pretty feel. Owner Marie Vialard.
