Austere on the opening, as seems to be the case with limestone-dominant soils in the vintage, but has good lift, understated, quality black fruits, this is enjoyable. Soft spices, slate, lemongrass acidities. Harvest 25 September to 7 October, 13 hl/ha yield, 60% new oak.
