Château de Pez St Estèphe 2nd Pez 2021
An extremely tasty, easy to drink 2nd wine that focuses on berry fruits, light tannins, slighlty bitter almond and fennel notes on the finish. Tasted tice, same impression. They have almost finished the replanting prgamme at Pez, but still have lots of youg vines, which is why they introduced this 2nd wine in 2019, making this the 3rd vintage, representing around 20%of production. A generous 57hl/h yield, after no frost and no mildew. No chaptilisation.
