Château Dillon Haut-Médoc Cru Bourgeois Supérieur 2021

This is a teaching school in Blanquefort, and has not been chaptilised. Definitely one to look out for if you can find it, ruby red colour, well-balanced summer fruits, fresh tannins, sappy rather than biting acidities. Harvest through to October 13. The blend includes Carmanère in most years, but it was entirely lost to frost in 2021.
