Château du Paradis St Emilion Grand Cru 2021

Tight and tannic, goes long on austerity, this is a full of bright black fruits, a little high in acidity on the finish but a quality value estate. The owner here, by the way, is M. Bardet in Vignonet, a small estate next to the Dordogne river with more clay than most of Vignonet, and the man who invented the Tribaie machine which measures sugar density of grapes and was absolutely sought after and celebrated in 2021!
