The second vintage for these plot-driven wines from Durfort-Vivens, and this is an enjoyable bottle with clear black fruit character that gives depth through the mid-palate and balance to the oyster shell salinity on the finish. 60% oak (20% new) for ageing, with the rest in amphora. Excellent wine with precision and seductive floral aromatics.
