Château Giscours Margaux 1855 3ième Cru 1971

This has depth and retains an emphasis on grilled blackberry fruits with fine tannins, but it is less charming and finessed than the 1970. Attractive notes of mandarin peel and tobacco leaf as it opens, with lift through the finish, but fades. Exact blend not known, but would have been relatively high Cabernet. Tari family owners.
