It balances out between opulence and freshness, but this is a tough vintage, and even here you can expect lower acidity than in most vintages. Organic farming, sand gravel and clay soils, 10h/h yield, harvest September 15 to October 27th,134h/g residual sugar. First vintage with Sandrine Garbay as estate director, moving over here from Château d’Yquem.
