Château Hostens Picant St Foy Côtes de Bordeaux 2024

They have done a good job here in this tricky vintage, with attractive red fruit character on the opening. Plenty of texture and grip, with juice that flows through the slightly rustic tannins. A good value option in this vintage. Harvest 27 September to 10 October, owner and founder Yves Picant died in February 2024, making this his last vintage. The estate is now run by his daughter Valentine Picant. No new oak, but all aged in barrels across 400l casks. Organic certified.
