Château Lécuyer Pomerol 2005
Ruby red, rose petal and raspberry leaf aromatics, this is an excellent moment to drink this. Expect blueberry and redcurrant puree, anis, liquorice and white pepper spice, tobacco, soy and undergrowth. Gentle overall, no need to wait, and I suggest drinking up within the next 5-10 years. This was just the second vintage of Lécuyer (owned by the Petit family of Château Tournefeuille, and in fact has just in 2022 been purchased by neighbouring Château Clinet, although will apparently be kept separate).
