Château La Commanderie Lalande-de-Pomerol Cuvee Rubis 2023

This has a light perfume, easy to enjoy, fine tannins and high floral aromatics, lilting acidities on the finish. Aged in 2000l and 3000l oak casks. The Colbert family are owners here since 2019, actual descendant of the original Colbert (the family reportedly still owns one of the chateaux given by Louis XIV!). Most of the grapes are sold to JP Moueix, with just one high quality section kept for the Rubis cuvee.
