Château La Fleur Lauga St Julien 2021

I am a huge fan of this property, and love that there are still small estates in St Julien, but you’re going to find more sleek fruits and depth in the bigger names in the appellation within a vintage that needed manpower and extremely careful investment. This is not to take away from what is an excellent if earthy 2021 with character, finesse and clarity, but expect rose stems and blueberry, with fresh juiciness giving sinew to the tannic frame.
