Château La Fleur Lauga St Julien Cru Artisan 2024

Tiny St Julien estate, this goes long on spice, with cloves and white pepper, fruit is a little tart, greengage and redcurrant, with the tannins pulled in on the finish. Should soften over ageing but this shows the challenges of the vintage. Melodie and Charles Brun, harvest 23 September to 4 October, 10% new oak for ageing. 35 hl/ha yield, Eric Boissenot consultant Blend given in planted not in the vintage.
