Luc d’Arfeuille owns this lovely 7ha estate on the limestone plateau of St Emilion, with a good kick of Cabernet Franc fragrant aromatics, and a kiss of grilled oak, this does a lovely job of harnessing the sweet ripe fruit of the year to a fresher expression of lemongrass and fennel, mouthwatering finish, good quality expression of limestone with a bitter fennel twist on the lingering finish. Harvest September 7 to 26.
