Château Le Pin Beausoleil Bordeaux 2019
Austere tannins, opening to raspberry and tobacco leaf, with mouthwatering salinity and a kick of white pepper spice on the finish. Plenty of classic limestone physicality and character. Located near the village of Rauzan in Entre deux Mers, this was the first estate that Stéphane Derenoncourt worked at when he arrived in Bordeaux in 1996. Aged in 50% new oak, owned by Ingrid and Michel Hallek.
