Brilliant, poised and confident wine, full of limestone finesse and a creamy texture that has delivered on its En Primeur promise. Fleshy blackberry and raspberry, alongside white pepper spice and saffron spice. A yield of 49hl/ha. The estate was sold from Artemis Domaines to the owners of Calon Ségur in early 2020, so the ageing was overseen by new owners Suravenir, with winemaker Penelope Godefroy remaining in place.
