Château les Trois Croix Fronsac 2018

2018 is an excellent Fronsac vintage, and shouldn’t be overlooked. And this is delivering at the top of its game, just full of pleasurable ripe black damson and red cherry fruits, concentrated and balanced by a controlled slate texture and mouthwatering finish. No rush to open, but you can easily drink now with a carafe, and it’s a brilliant food wine with its juicy acidities and bright fruits. The last vintage under owner Patrick Léon (now succeeded by son Bertrand), and it stands out as a testament to his skills as a winemaker.
