Château l’Evangile Pomerol 1961
A wine that blew everyone away from the first moment. So full of black truffles, tobacco, crayon, slate, rose petals, Served from magnum, no new oak, and made from mainly young vines, as two thirds of the vintage had been replanted after the 1956 frost, and at the time Madame Ducasse made only one single wine from her vineyard.
