Château Lilian Ladouys St Estèphe 2005
This is very much heading to tertiary, displaying undergrowth and tobacco alongside raspberry puree fruits. Very much on the plateau, unlikely to evolve further, but there is still plenty of character and pleasure. Made from a different (and smaller) footprint of vines than today’s Lilian Ladouys.
