The warmth of the vintage gives this Blanc de Lynch Bages a gourmet feel, with good weight through the mid palate, plenty of structure, and a clear emphasis on apricot, nectarine, pineapple, white peach and honeysuckle. I noted during the En Primeur tastings that it’s a slightly atypical vintage, and the impression is confirmed now in bottle – plenty of pesonality, less lift than in the 2019 or 2021 vintages. 3.35pH, 50% new oak, 40hl/h yield.
