Château Lynch Moussas Pauillac 1855 5ième Cru 2019

Smoked cedar oak and espresso aromatics that accompany and almost threaten the rich damson fruits. Needs a few years to soften further and allow the fruit to breathe, but this has impact and personality. This vintage marks the 100th anniversary under the Castéja family, who arrived at the property in 1919, and comes with a special red label (and engravings on the bottle that will remain even when the label goes back to yellow). Tasted twice.
