Château Maltus Lalande de Pomerol 2021

This is well made, with careful winemaking and a sense of lift through the palate, but the smoked oak is a little dominant on the finish. Nicolas Lassagne winemaker, ageing in a mix of 500l and 225l barrels (50% in each) with fermentation in new oak.
