Château Marojallia Margaux 2022

This will be the last year for Château Marojallia to be bottled from this site, because the estate and vines have now been sold to neighbouring Château Marquis de Terme. I believe the name will still exist, but not from these vineyards, so fans should get hold of this vintage. It is, rather fittingly if you know the history of the first ‘garagiste’ wine in the appellation, riper than many Margaux in the vintage, meaning that it has leaned further in to the exuberance of the year in terms of celebrating deep spice, baked plum and black chocolate. Clear flashes of heat, but also plenty of enjoy and get stuck in to. Heavy bottle. 60% new barrels, 40% one-year barrels.
