Medium intensity ruby, this is the first year in a new cellar, touch of reduction on the first nose, opening to show crushed rose petals and soft red fruits that could do with a touch more ripeness. Speaks with a gentle voice, but there is a lovely soft texture here, and it builds in intensity through the palate, which is a great sign of its ability to unwind and age over the next five to six years.
