Château Montlandrie Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux 2010
Firm ruby colour, soft tertiary woodsmoke and saffron flavours, this is good quality, with lilting acidity, touch of liquorice root, orange peel, pomegranate and raspberry leaf. Great stuff, but the 2009 Montlandrie takes the podium. Second vintage under Denis Durantou.
