Plum colour, with sweet black cherry on the aromatics. Blueberry and loganberry kick in quickly, and as the wine relaxes into the glass a curl of smoke and tobacco leaf drift upwards. The chalky tannins give a drag to the fruits across the palate, slowing things down and stretching out the flavours. Mouthwatering finish with a crush of mint. 70% new oak.
