Château Rocheyron St Emilion Grand Cru 2023
Powerfully bright and rich berry fruit, a burst of concentration and a ton of bright fruit, oyster shell salinity and intense smoked spice. Limestone tannins are chalky but refined – once again owner Peter Sisseck shows what can be done on this type of soil. Harvest September 11 through to 20 for the Merlot, and October 3 for the Cabernet Franc. 3.45ph, 30% new oak, and the rest in neutral oak.
