Château Rouget Pomerol 2021

Attractive sculpted red fruits, with lemongrass and slate reflecting the freshness and minerality of the year, even within the more luscious signature of Pomerol. This has fattened up through the mid palate over ageing, and is attractive, with a lean but finessed tannic frame. A two point upscore, unusual in the vintage, good stuff from owner Edouard Labruyère.
